Business Card makes things easy. While it should be released in the next 2 weeks, there are some things that need to happen in order to make sure our current and future users have a functioning release. For those that have not been acquainted, Business Card makes to-do lists and contacts easy to manage, organize and share. It is one of the many tools we use to sell usability, design and agile psychology. The original idea came from cell phones. More people that I could name at the time had more contacts than they could handle. Answer, keep them in a different memory. If you subscribe to your contacts feed, you have all of your contacts...in real time, as soon as the secretary enters them. I would have to say the two coolest parts of the app is the social components and the use of microformats to organize the data. The ability to share content is by far the most recognizable aspect of web 2.0. Business card allows you to share business cards for trading contacts, or even creating a company directory. There's really no restriction on what you can use it for. Microformats are like miniature web page that organizes data. Not only are we using some that already exist, we've also created one that we think is really helpful for organizing collaboration.
